At Beckworth Emporium we understand how difficult it can be to entertain the family during the summer holidays and planning a day out can be easier said than done. So, we’ve done the hard work and planned a day for you and the family to enjoy, turning your Beckworth Emporium visit into a day out for all the family.
Start the day with ‘Breakfast at Beckworth’. There’s no better way to start any day then with our famous Emporium Grill. Join your family and friends in our ‘Restaurant in the Glasshouse’. We serve breakfast from 8.30am till 11am every day.
After your breakfast why not browse our gifts and homewares or even something new for the garden, with our extensive line of garden furniture in our ‘Outdoor Living’ department.
The next important step of the day is sorting lunch. As we know that even after filling breakfast there’s always room for an afternoon snack. Our food hall has the perfect items to make the ideal summer picnic. The Hambleton butchers counter serve ready to eat sausage rolls, pork pies and even samosas. No trip to the Emporium would be complete without a visit to our deli counter. Finish your picnic perfectly with 1 or maybe 2 slices of our fresh cream cakes, which are baked and prepared daily by Whittlebury Bakery.
So now you have your picnic where are you going to take it to? Sywell country park is a great place for all the family and only 5-minutes from us at Beckworth. It has something for everyone, an indoor and outdoor play area for the children to burn off a little steam and trails for adults to enjoy exploring the park! Our favourite place to visit in Sywell is the ‘Butterfly Garden’. If this leaves you feeling inspired to create your own butterfly garden at home, we have a whole section dedicated to this in our horticulture area.
