Our range of real Christmas trees will be on sale from the 27th of November, just in time for getting your home ready for the Christmas season! Here’s some advice from our Horticulture manager Richard on choosing the right tree for you and your family.

Pot Grown Trees

Our range of pot grown trees are ideal for something which will live past Christmas (providing that they are watered adequately). From being grown in the pot as a seedling will all roots intact our range of pot grown trees include Nordmann, Fraser Fir and Norway spruce. Varying in size from 80cm- 150cm.

Not sure which type of pot grown tree to go?

The Nordmann is our best-selling variety year on year, it is bushy and has minimal scent. However, if you have restricted space at home we would recommend the Fraser fir, it is our ‘slimline’ variety and has scented needles for that Christmas homely smell. But if you are looking for something traditional, we recommend the Norway Spruce variety of tree which is full in shape and has scented needles (which can be prickly), the best of both worlds.

But remember all pot grown trees do need to be cared for to live after Christmas.

Premium Cut Trees

Not to forget our premium cut trees. Which include the Nordmann and Fraser species. Sizesrange from 110cm – 3.5m.

Not sure what the difference is between the two species?

The Nordmann is always the best-selling variety, for both pot grown and cut trees. It has excellent needle retention, minimal scent and has the traditional size and ‘bushyness’. However, if you are limited on space the Fraser is slimmer then the Nordmann but still has excellent needle retention and of course the scented needles that really makes a home ready for Christmas. All our premium cut trees have been sourced to give our customers the very best quality of tree this Christmas.
