Award Winning Food and Drink
Beckworth Emporium has been named a Local Food Hero at the Northamptonshire Food and Drink Awards 2010/11.
The award recognises people and businesses in the county's food and drink sector who go further in producing, supplying, promoting or selling local goods or food services, thereby contributing to the reduction of food miles and carbon emissions. We're delighted to have received an award which recognises our dedication to providing the best local produce for our customers.
Fruit and vegetable stalls
Abundant displays of fresh, colourful produce at its peak. We work hard for you to select produce offering real taste and value for money. Take a paper bag and pick your own. Minimal packaging and just what you need, although we do hope to tempt you to pick a few more!
Groceries
As you pass through our Food Hall you will find a selection of grocery stalls – teas & coffees, pastas & rices, cakes & biscuits, crisps & snacks, cereals, drinks, beers & wines...and more!
Many products are selected from smaller producers who have a focus on taste and have a passion for good food.
Fresh flowers
Choose from a selection of fresh flower stems and hand tied bouquets. Our resident florist will advise, take orders or make you a bouquet while you wait.
Plant market
At our plant market, you will find a selection of fresh, vibrant coloured plants, many of which have been grown in our own on-site nursery. To earn their place in our market the plants must be “looking their best” and offer great value.
Garden goodies
Finally a selection of garden goodies: compost, seeds and a simple selection of feeds to nurture your beautiful new plants.
