Open air ice rink to be unveiled at Beckworth Emporium
Visitors to Beckworth Emporium will soon be enjoying the ultimate winter experience, as owners prepare to unveil an open-air ice rink at the Mears Ashby shopping emporium.
The stunning rink is due to be in place from the end of November and will form the centrepiece of the Emporium’s Winter Wonderland - complete with dramatic evening music and light shows. From November until January, Beckworth will be a dazzling grotto of twinkling lights, Christmas trees, gifts and delicious festive food.
Customers of all ages are invited to take to the ice and enjoy the ultimate open-air skating experience in the idyllic setting of the Emporium courtyard.
Beckworth Emporium owner, David Brown, said: “We’re absolutely thrilled to offer our customers the chance to experience an open-air skating rink. It is the perfect festive outing for all the family, where they can enjoy the festive ambience and is a great way for people to get in the mood for Christmas.”
Beckworth will provide top-quality skates, an indoor skate exchange area, indoor and outdoor viewing areas, push along aides for small children and festive ringside refreshments.
The ice rink is due to open on November 26th and will be open daily until January 10th. The hourly sessions will run throughout the days and should be booked in advance via the online booking system or by calling 01604 810641.
