Family run traditional butchers
We are a family run traditional farmers, butchers and game dealers supplying high quality traditional fresh meat, game, home made pork pies and speciality pies, home cooked meats, hand made sausages, haslets and much more.

In the main our beef comes from our own farm in Rutland, where we rear traditional British native breeds; Longhorn, Aberdeen Angus, Dexter and Highland cattle. We also source Lincoln Red beef from the best of local farmers. Our lamb comes from our own and neighbouring flocks, all grazed by Rutland Water. Pork is ranged in deep straw filled barns by John and Stan Alford at Bardney, Lincolnshire.
Our beef herds graze extensively on grass pastures in the summer and shelter in airy barns in the winter, the sheep graze outside all year except at lambing time, producing naturally tender, tasty and succulent meat. All our beef is dry hung for at least three weeks, and often longer, and our lamb is hung for 10 days to give you the tastiest, tenderest, most succulent meat, all prepared by our high quality butchers.
Our award-winning pork and speciality pies are hand made in our own kitchens alongside our other delicious goodies; come along and try for yourself!
