Family run traditional butchers
We are a family run traditional farmers, butchers and game dealers supplying high quality traditional fresh meat, game, home made pork pies and speciality pies, home cooked meats, hand made sausages, haslets and much more.

In the main our beef comes from our own farm in Rutland, where we rear traditional British native breeds; Longhorn, Aberdeen Angus, Dexter and Highland cattle. We also source Lincoln Red beef from the best of local farmers. Our lamb comes from our own and neighbouring flocks, all grazed by Rutland Water. Pork is ranged in deep straw filled barns by John and Stan Alford at Bardney, Lincolnshire.
Our beef herds graze extensively on grass pastures in the summer and shelter in airy barns in the winter, the sheep graze outside all year except at lambing time, producing naturally tender, tasty and succulent meat. All our beef is dry hung for at least three weeks, and often longer, and our lamb is hung for 10 days to give you the tastiest, tenderest, most succulent meat, all prepared by our high quality butchers.

Deli
Delicious hand-made pies
Our deli offers a large variety of hand-made pork pies and award winning speciality pies. All made by Charly and Jill in our own kitchens, we use only the best ingredients which are either grown on our farm, or carefully sourced from the best suppliers.
A large range of high quality ready meals and shortcrust pastry pies are also available. Charly makes his own shortcrust pastry and Jill cooks all the pie fillings to the highest standards of taste.
Hambleton Farms Fine Foods also stock a large range of international, national and local cheese. Carefully picked by our experienced team we offer a fantastic array of different cheeses to suit a multitude of palates.
All of the cooked meats come from our kitchen and the meat has been sourced from our farm and neighbouring farmers. We steam cook the meats to keep them moist once cooled. We make sure to score the pork properly, honey roast the hams and leave the beef just a little pink in the middle.
